  1. You're welcome! and thanks for the shout out!the giveaways are fun to do. I am thinking up my next one right now!
My favorite post so far has been the potty training posting - as we are not there yet with this guy (and at this point I've decided to just wait until after baby 2 is here - but it's inspiring and helpful to get another point of view on how to get it done.). and a suggestion for an upcoming post... maybe a follow up to your coupon blog as a food/ weekly menu kind of blog. I love getting ideas on what types of things other people eat with their toddlers for breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner.

  2. Hi Annie
OK my favorite post has been about couponing and Drug store shopping. You'll be happy to know that I have started a little notebook that I wrote down the main toiletree items we use most often and I am price comparing at several of my regular stops and have started looking at sales flyers and coupons before making a stop. It's a slow start- now I just have to start getting the Sunday paper so I can get my coupons rolling. I also have looked into getting more shopping done at Bi-Lo where they give you gas perks. what can I say you have inspired me.
what would I like you to post about going forward...handling toddler behavior. Maybe it's because I have a boy or maybe it's because I have a 2 1/2 year old but I swear my child can go from angelic to devil in .2 seconds. I am always looking for different ways to control and discipline. Being a Christian mom I read alot on how to be intentional and teaching JC that it's important to respect me. We have just recently changed from a 1-2-3 warning system to a Obedience first system- meaning he doesn't get another chance to come when I call or stop when I say so. It's about respecting what we say. Now we have to figure out what to take away when he behaves but not punish ourselves at the sametime.
I check your blog every morning when I get to work and start drinking my tea. I know if will get crazy when the new baby arrives but all I can say is keep blogging and I'll keep reading!

  3. Well, as an avid couponer, I loved your couponing blogpost! It's so fun to teach others to get the most for their money! I'd love to see a post on some of your playtime ideas or even basic crocheting--hint, hint! LOL Thanks for the fun giveaway!

  4. My fav post was actually the diaper post. It was a good reminder that not everything works for everyone in the same way.. While we still need to make up our own minds on products, it is good to have feedback and opinion before starting the process.

I think that I am really looking for management of multiple kids and how to make sure that the first child doesn't feel lost with the addition of a new child.

The other thing is how to do activities on little to no money.

  5. So I've really liked a bunch of them! I think my top three are the potty training, because like Katie, we aren't there yet and it was so good to get some insight on things to think about, best practices, etc. And I loved how you broke it down into the checklist format (I'm a huge fan of The Checklist Manifesto, have you read it?!?). My second favorite is the couponing because it is something I have been really interested in doing and it was another instructional post that I could follow and perhaps (at some point) try out. And lastly, the working mom one. I struggle with this every day (do I stay at home, do I go to work, how will the responsibilities shift, am I ready to give up my freedom, etc.). You are so candid in your blogs and I really appreciate that. It has helped me to see different angles that I might now otherwise have picked up on.

I'm going to have to get back to you on some topics that I'd like to see. I'm leaving work right now and I'm fried!!!

  6. I love your "Parenting is not for weak stomachs" post. Mostly because I just had poop all over my hands from changing a diaper on my wiggle worm this morning. :-) A topic suggestion I have would be something on what you're doing to prepare Katie for the new addition to the family.

  8. We actually did the "no TV till 2" with our first. She did go to a home daycare where she watched TV, but at home she did not. We listened to a lot of music instead. She is now 5 and is completely stuck to the TV, she can't get enough. Maybe it was not such a good idea thinking about it now. Now having two, I have tried real hard not to compare them. My first did things a lot quicker but I think with the first I was so focused on milestones and what "they" said she should be doing I may have made them happen quicker (but isn't that what you do with your first). We are a lot more relaxed with the second and now that the third is on the way I am not sure how it will be
